Brand Story
The story behind this start-up goes back in 2019, when founder Joyce was approached by many customers and friends for consultation and treatment for their sensitive and allergic skin. She discovered that many skin problems were caused by the absorption of transdermal toxic that can be found on the non-natural ingredients of their everyday skin products.
With more than 10 years of experience in the field of aesthetic medicine, she began experimenting with making her own soap using only natural ingredients like essential oils, herbs, and plant-based oils. After several rounds of trial and error, she finally perfected her recipe for a luxurious, moisturizing soap that left her skin feeling soft and supple. She started to create small batches of handmade soap that she shared with family and friends. As word spread about the quality and effectiveness of her handmade soap, she realised that she had stumbled upon something special that was both good for the skin and good for the environment. Encouraged by the positive feedback she received from friends and family who tried her soap, Joyce decided to turn her passion into a business and this led to the creation of SAVON. She started selling her handmade soaps at local farmer’s markets and soon gained a loyal following.
Today, SAVON is a thriving soapmaking brand that offers a range of natural and sustainable skincare products, all made with the same care and attention to detail that Joyce put into her first batch of soaps. We are proud to continue her legacy and bring the benefits of natural skincare to people all over the world.
